Capability 04
Software Development
Custom software for the parts of your business no off-the-shelf product actually fits.
Overview
Most businesses run on a patchwork of spreadsheets, email threads, and software that almost does what they need. We build the piece that's actually missing, an internal tool, a data pipeline connecting two systems that don't talk to each other, or a standalone application with no public-facing site at all.
This isn't web development with a different name; it covers backend services, scheduled jobs, data processing, and system integration work. We scope it the same way as everything else: a written requirement, a realistic architecture, and code your team can actually maintain after we're done.
What's Included
- Backend services & APIs
- Data pipeline & integration work
- Internal tools & automation
- Legacy system modernization
- Cloud infrastructure setup
- Documentation & knowledge transfer
Tech Stack
How This Engagement Runs
What happens after you sign off on software development.
- 01
Problem Definition
We start from the actual operational problem, not an assumed technical solution.
- 02
Technical Design
Architecture and data flow mapped out and reviewed before code is written.
- 03
Iterative Build
Working increments delivered on a regular cadence, not a single black-box handoff.
- 04
Testing & Hardening
Edge cases, failure modes, and error handling tested deliberately.
- 05
Deployment & Handover
Infrastructure setup and documentation your team can operate independently.

Why Lisora Digital
Why teams choose us for software development, specifically.
Senior Team, Every Project
No handoff to a junior once the contract is signed, the person who scoped it is who builds it.
Fixed, Written Scope
A quote and scope in writing before work begins, so there's no ambiguity about what you're paying for.
You Own Everything
Code, domain, and data are yours outright, in your own accounts, from day one.
One Team, Fifteen Disciplines
Build, security, and growth handled under a single contract, not three uncoordinated vendors.
Backed by an ISO-Audited Parent
Lisora LLC's certification-industry discipline shapes how we scope and deliver, not just how we talk about it.
Questions
What clients ask before starting.
We don't have a technical spec, just a problem, can you start there?+
Yes, that's normal. Most engagements start as a business problem, and the first deliverable is a written technical scope you approve before any build work begins.
Do you work with our existing codebase, or only greenfield projects?+
Both. Working inside an existing codebase means an initial review period to understand its structure and constraints before we commit to a timeline, we'll flag that upfront rather than guess.
What languages and stacks do you use?+
Primarily Node.js, Python, and Go depending on the problem, with PostgreSQL for data and Docker/cloud infrastructure for deployment. We choose the stack based on the project, not a house preference.
Tell us what you're building.
A written scope and fixed quote within days, no obligation attached.
